Gravity gives the only explanation for the above that answers objections to other ideas and gives a mechanical explanation of how mass works .

Before materialisation the universe was empty but extended to the same size that it is today. What created the change? A minute proportion of space was moving, less than  a few millionths of 0.1 percent. This movement random at first but in the course of billions of years collided and so created spin. Spin then is contained in trillions of microscopic units which spin forever.  What is spinning is space itself and in doing  so is pulling or sucking on the continuum of space forever. This  then is how atoms initially hydrogen, are brought into existence. By great accumulation of material greater and greater and more complex units emerge from which many different properties are observed.Space moving? Well you and I move and we are over 99% empty space.

Spin forever? Well there is no friction in space. Black holes and the effects created there? simply a manifestation of the proportion of the gravitational pull coming from all  directions across that area. Expansion, dark energy, dark mass? Who needs it If New Gravity is essentially an accurate description of reality.
